Hi Last year was a time of important growth for the Free Pint Limited publishing community. We continued to refine and polish the FreePint Newsletter, debuted a single monthly VIP, upgraded our report series and honed the Jinfo Newsletter. We couldn't have done any of this without you: our contributors. We know 2007 will be another year of growth. We're already looking to expand our team through a copyeditor/proofreader and special-interest editors for a redesigned VIP Wire (http://www.vivaVIP.com/wire/). If you are interested in joining us in either of these roles, please read the job posting at Jinfo for the proofreading role, or e-mail us at . Otherwise, if you have ideas of articles or reports you'd like to suggest, please read on for details of how you can contribute. We always want to hear from you at . Sincerely, Monique Cuvelier Editor, FreePint editor@freepint.com > = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = IN THIS ISSUE: * Author Spotlight: Book deals, business boosts * Reports: New prospects for income and publicity * VIP Wire: Editors needed * Articles, Reviews, Tipples: Opportunities and ideas * Jinfo: CV makeovers, experts and articles > = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT As a FreePint contributor, you already know some of the benefits of working with us. But here are a few recent highlights from some of our authors: * David Sarokin: This former employee of Google Answers wrote about his experience working with the former entity . Since his article appeared, FreePint has received weekly feedback from all across the globe. David says, 'My xooxleanswers.com site was mentioned in FreePint and in another excellent newsletter, ResearchBuzz, on the same day. So far, FreePint has resulted in twice the number of hits to my site as ResearchBuzz.' * Jela Webb: Almost immediately after writing "The Risk Management Report and Tool Kit" as a FUMSI report, Jela was approached by a publishing house for a possible book deal. She adds, 'After I wrote "Setting up as an Independent Consultant" (June 2005) I was asked to contribute a White Paper on the subject (which I did). I also run a consultancy skills module on the MBA programme at the University of Brighton.' * Caryn Wesner-Early: Caryn's article "Wikipedia: To Use or Not To Use" sparked immediate interest amongst the FreePint community -- and publishers. She was approached by a major information publishing house at the end of last year about a related book. She's now in discussions which we hope will lead to a contract. > = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = REPORTS Free Pint Limited announces the transformation of its reports series into FreePint FUMSI Reports.
