When you are accepted then please submit your article in the following format:
- Your article should be 2000 words maximum.
- Make sure that spelling is the British spelling, e.g. 'organization' should be 'organisation'
- The word 'licence' should be spelt with an 's', i.e. 'license'
- 'Internet' should have a capital 'I'
- 'Web', as in 'World Wide Web' and 'Web site', should have a capital 'W'
- URLs (Web addresses) should be surrounded by angle brackets ('<' and '>') and include http:// e.g. <http://www.freepint.com/>
- There should be a forward-slash after each URL if it is a domain name only, e.g. <http://www.freepint.com/> not <http://www.freepint.com>
- 'etc.' should be formatted as shown
- 'e.g.' and 'i.e.' should have full-stops inbetween and at the end of them
- The word 'PDF' should be in upper-case
- Headings should be underlined with '============' (only if there are sub-headings in the article), if not, then a single dashed line will do, e.g. '------------'
- Sub-headings should be underlined with '-----------'
- There should be two blank lines above all headings and one blank line after the dashed line
- In a list bulleted items, the last item should have a full stop at the end.
- Please remember to include your biography information of 100 words at the end. If you include an email address then I'm afraid it is likely that you will receive junk email in the future.
- Make sure that you format all Web addresses (URLs) correctly:
- Make sure they start with "http://"
- Are contained within "<" and ">"
- e.g.
- Submit your article in plain text format. This means:
- No bold, italic, tabs, tables or pictures
- No curly quotes (single or double). Microsoft Word is infamous for this and so if writing your article in Word then remember to save as "Plain Text".
- Please clearly state any affiliations or connections you have with products and services covered in the article.
