Jinfo Writers Guidelines
Jinfo is a database of information-related job vacancies at <http://www.jinfo.com/>.
Jinfo is an online job database hosted by FreePint, Ltd., for professionals who find, use, manage or share information. It lists job vacancies in information-related fields such as research, analysis, database development, journalism, online content, media, library science, public relations and more.
In addition to providing access to the latest jobs in information, Jinfo publishes a monthly newsletter with features that aim to help readers enhance their careers. Jinfo's mission is to provide an arena for readers to learn about job opportunities and improve their career skills at http://www.jinfo.com/.
The monthly Jinfo Magazine delivers original reporting and constructive employment advice from those in information industries. Our readers are looking for proven advice for improving their career and finding a better job. We'll consider first-person essays, profiles of successful professionals and well-researched articles of trends in the industry.
Jinfo has recently launched the Makeover column. If you're a job-seeker in the English-speaking world who thinks your CV needs help, we'll send your CV through our panel of experts for a makeover. The new and improved CV (with any identifying characteristics removed, of course) will be featured in Jinfo Magazine and could well help boost your career.
We also help employers who think their adverts aren't reaching enough job-seekers. Send us your advert that needs improvement, and we'll run it by our panel of experts for review and improvement.
Articles range between 500 and 750 words. There are no limitations on style, as long as the writing is lively and interesting and has a knowing voice that captures the writer's professional experience. Proposals should be focused and developed, giving our editors a good understanding of what the article will be.
If you would like to contribute a piece to Jinfo, please send your proposal to Monique Cuvelier monique.cuvelier@freepint.com
